Welcome to Seven Seas Life – a site brought to you by Seven Seas Ltd – that will give you the opportunity to explore, read and learn about nutrition, health and the role of vitamin and mineral supplements.
At Seven Seas we have been supporting family health since 1935. We understand good health is essential to keeping up with the demands of modern life. Our products have been specially crafted with you in mind – and so are the articles within this site.
We want to up-front and honest with you this site is not about our products or us trying to sell you something – you will find none of our products are mentioned here.
We would, of course, love you to visit the Seven Seas brand site and investigate our health offerings, but that is entirely up to you.
What we want to achieve here is a place for you to read and digest subjects and topic surrounding your health and wellbeing. Our aim is to improve everyone’s knowledge about how our bodies work and interact with our daily lives.
We have created topic headings that you will hopefully be able to relate to, and appeal to everyone. Let’s be clear the site is not designed to be your one stop shop of all health related materials online. There are plenty of sites out their to help you diagnose any multitude of medical issues. What this site is here to do is give you an everyday perspective on health matters and provide, where appropriate, links to other great web sites that we like and trust.
We will be regularly updating the site with articles based around important matters that impact people in different ways, for articles such as the impact of the menopause, the increasing lack of vitamin D, to the fact that as a nation we are getting older.
We will be referencing all our information on the site to allow you to check the sources of any information we provide. Going forward we want this to be as much about you and your needs as possible. We would love your feedback; we would love to know the issue that you want us to talk about!. We will be doing our best to review the daily weekly health stories, giving you insight into their origins and offering a balanced view where possible.
A little information about the site structure:
This section covers a range of topics concerning issues that can affect us every day, such as concentration, helping your immune system, digestive health, male-specific health needs.
This section covers the 100s of question we all face in our early days, and we will over time delve into subjects we hope are important to you on behalf of your child as an invested parent. Subjects such as concentration during exam times, growing up healthy, health matters for infants, overall immunity and recovering from those childhood illnesses.
This section is dedicated to the specific health needs of women. We will be covering important health and well-being topics but also celebrating what it is to be a woman. We aim to provide resources to help you find information that we don’t cover in enough detail. Topics that we will cover over time here are things like motherhood, beauty, active living, the menopause and pregnancy.
The nation is officially getting older, and here we want to explore the important issues around getting older, and explre helpful information on how to do so a little more healthily.
Subjects such as healthy joints, muscles and bones, plus heart, eye and brain health will be discussed here.
Everyone seems time pressured and that doesn’t look like it will be improving anytime soon. So here we will look at things that can occur. This area not just about those leading the hectic lifestyle it is also those people who choose to have a demanding lifestyle such as their choice of sporting activities. Subjects will include energy, sleep, stress, mood and allergies.
This is our comprehensive nutrient database. We will be adding to this all the time and updating it with the latest research studies. This will help provide you guidance to the key elements our bodies needs to operate to their full capacity.
